Kevin
has more than 20 years of experience providing strategic financial
consulting services to hundreds of middle market and emerging growth
companies. He focuses on providing financial based analyses and
advisory services as they relate to selling and buying businesses,
joint ventures, business valuations and raising private capital.
Kevin
formed Curtis Financial Group in 1994. He previously spent two years
as a vice president with Berwind Financial Group representing clients
involved with mergers and acquisitions and those with capital sourcing
needs. Prior to that, Kevin spent seven years in the financial advisory
services group of Coopers & Lybrand, an international accounting
firm, where he performed business valuations in connection with
mergers and acquisitions, shareholder buyouts, shareholder disputes
and gift and estate planning. He also spent two years with a financial
consulting firm representing buyers in mergers and acquisitions.
Kevin
has spoken before numerous professional and educational groups on
various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, business valuations
and raising private capital for middle market and emerging growth
companies.
Education
Kevin earned an MBA in finance from Drexel University and a BS degree
in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from the Pennsylvania State
University. His education has been supplemented by numerous continuing
professional education courses. He is a Certified Public Accountant
in Pennsylvania but not currently licensed to practice. He holds
the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and NASD Licenses Series
7, 66, 24, and 28.
