Curtis Financial Group, LLC
Participates in Appraisal Issues Task Force in Washington, D.C.

Philadelphia, PA - May 1, 2005 -- Curtis Financial Group is pleased to announce that professionals from Curtis have become active participants in the Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF).

In the current highly critical accounting environment, the FASB and the SEC are increasingly looking for information regarding valuation issues and scrutinizing valuation conclusions and methods.

The AITF is an industry-wide consortium comprised of a voluntary group of valuation professionals who wish to improve the practice of valuation. The AITF focuses on valuation for financial reporting purposes and as a result discusses valuation issues directly with the staff of the FASB and the SEC. The AITF provides a forum for valuation practitioners from around the US to interpret existing rules and recommend methodology assumptions and approaches.
