Verticalnet, Inc., (NASDAQ:VERT) is a provider of collaborative supply chain software solutions sold to Global 2000 companies in either a licensing or on-demand model.

Verticalnet acquired Tigris Corp. in January of 2004 to enhance its consulting services in “spend analysis.” Verticalnet acquired B2e Markets, Inc. in July 2004 to enhance its product offerings.

Curtis Financial was engaged by Verticalnet to assist in the allocation of the purchase price in these transactions among the tangible and intangible assets in accordance with SFAS 141.
