Verlan Holdings, Inc., (Verlan) an insurance holding company comprised of Verlan Fire Insurance Company and Coatings Industry Services, Inc., provides specialty commercial property, fire and allied lines insurance and brokerage services to small- and medium-sized companies with actual or perceived chemical processing risk throughout the U.S.

To provide liquidity to its shareholders and assist in the implementation of growth opportunities, the Company’s Board decided to pursue a sale of the business. Curtis Securities, LLC was engaged to represent Verlan in such sale and to provide a fairness opinion for the transaction.
