Oneida Communications Group was established in 2005 to acquire FCC broadband radio service (BRS) licenses in the 2.5 GHz to 2.7 GHz spectrum band in selected markets across the United States.

Curtis initiated the transaction and advised Oneida Communications Group in structuring and negotiating an investment of $10 million of Series A Preferred Equity from Catalyst Investors and Northwood Investors. The capital is to be used to fund acquisitions in the 2.5 GHz to 2.7 GHz spectrum band.
