New Jersey Title Insurance Company ("NJTIC") is the oldest title insurance company operating in New Jersey. Headquartered in Parsippany, and licensed to do business in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, NJTIC issues its policies through a network of independent title agents.

Curtis analyzed NJTIC, developed an exhaustive list of potential buyers, and began a customized process of soliciting offers. Despite a cooling real estate market, this marketing effort yielded several expressions of interest of which CATIC's offer was ultimately accepted by Holdings' Board of Directors.

Due to the Company's holding company ownership structure which had potentially adverse transaction-related tax consequences, Curtis utilized a strategy that resulted in a tax efficient structure for the selling shareholders.
