Eric Carle has illustrated more than seventy books, many best sellers, most of which he also wrote. Mr. Carle has received numerous awards and citations for his books.

Eric Carle created The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art and contributed several of his titles to a trust formed for the benefit of this museum.
