Oldcastle Materials, Inc. Acquires Powers Stone, Inc.’s Materials Division

Powers Stone, Inc.’s Materials Division has been acquired by Oldcastle Materials, Inc. a division of CRH plc. Curtis Securities, LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to Powers Stone, Inc. in connection with this transaction.  Powers Stone, Inc. is a leading producer of crushed stone aggregate material and dimensional bluestone located in Montrose, Pennsylvania.  The Company was experiencing rapid growth in its Materials Division due to Marcellus Shale related exploration and investment in Northeastern Pennsylvania and engaged Curtis Securities, LLC to assist the Company with the identification of a strategic partner with additional resources to help the Materials Division capitalize on this opportunity.
